Children are part of the younger generation who are the successors of the ideals of the nation's struggle as well as human capital for national development. Childhood is a special time because of their success or failure at the beginning of life determines their future development. However, lately there have been many problems regarding children, one of the problems that often arise in everyday life is that children commit criminal acts of theft like case No.10/pid.sus.anak/2016/PN.Mjy. Children who become Criminal Doer get legal protection in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Child Criminal Justice System. Where the Law becomes the judge's reference in giving a decision and to see whether the decision given by the Judge is in accordance with the principles of child criminal justice. This research method used a normative juridical approach, primary data sources are obtained from literature studies, both in the form of books on the theft of crime and the Criminal Justice System for Children and Child Protection, journals of the Child Criminal Justice System, SPPA Law and case files No.10/pid.sus.anak/2016/PN.Mjy, secondary data sources were obtained from the District Court of Kab. Madiun. It can be known what is the basis of the consideration of the Judge deciding case No. 10/pid.sus.anak/2016/PN.Mjy and the suitability of the Judge's decision with the Principles of the Child Criminal Justice System under the SPPA Law. Child legal protection is all efforts to ensure the fulfillment of children's rights. Judges in giving verdicts based on the fulfillment of elements of criminal offenses and based on conviction. Then the verdict was given by the District Court of Kab. Madiun has fulfilled in accordance with the SPPA Law, even though the principles are not all fulfilled
